The Chihuly Exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden is spectacular.  I had previously seen his work at Meijer Garden in Grand Rapids, MI.  But the backdrop to this exhibit is so much more dramatic: outdoors among the harshest of elements, the desert landscape so barren, generally stark and abundantly rough-edged.  These bursts of color seem to smooth, soften, offer a more welcome desert embrace.  I wish my camera could do them justice.
