This sea of flowers consumes almost the entire front yard of a home a few blocks from ours.  Their perky yellow and orange heads are one of the first signs of spring in the desert, although both are fleeting.  I took this picture back in March  and they’re mostly wilted and brown already.  But, while they last, be still my heart.

  2. Thanks, Dee. I thought it turned out nicely – that bright orange face. I also loved the sea of color behind it. Wonder what a better camera could produce?? 🙂 I’m addicted, too.
