DSCN8221

The citrus season ended earlier this spring.  Most of the old fruit is off the branches, but there are a few lingering up high, out of reach.  You can see one in the background.  But the new fruit is there.  Growing.  Sweetening.  Ripening.  Waiting for the day, this winter, it can start to turn orange and beautiful and plump and pickable.  For now, I wait.  And watch.
