Shot this during an after-monsoon-storm walk w/Kat.  She doesn’t have a lot of patience for ISO or exposure compensation. It is what it is given dusky lighting and a five year old who had places to go.

  2. Speaking of being ready for picking, tell me what you think about my poem. It is a triolet entitled Juniper.

    Choose your gift carefully.
A rush to pluck the berry can be slightly poisonous.
The juvenile is surrounded by needlelike leaves.
    Choose your gift carefully.
    Time is a pollinating bee.
It will carry the aromatic scent that overtakes us.

  3. DO you ever pick them and make jelly (or other things?) out of them? We have a HUGE prickly pear in our back yard and I always mean to make prickly pear jelly, but then never do.

I LOVE your blog btw. Your style seems to be similar to mine. I’ll be checking back often 🙂
Thanks for the add to your blog roll, too.
