    • Well, he/she wasn’t a wild butterfly. We hatched them from a kit…so it was sort of a captive audience. He couldn’t fly away!! 🙂

    • True confessions: It was in a butterfly habitat. We ordered the caterpillars and watched as they spun their chrysalids, then morphed into these pretty Painted Ladies. We’ll probably set them free this weekend. It was a cool project for my 5 year old, though. She was totally entralled.

    • We have to let ours go today. Four of the five have already mated, so it’s time to release and let nature take it’s course. My daughter loved this, though. It was such a great project! Hope to see some pictures of yours.
