The weather has been so hot and so cloudless, I’ve suffered through a bit of an inspirational slump; the extreme and insurmountable boredom with pretty much all the plant life in our yard, and our neighbors’ yards. So, I pulled this out of the many pictures I took in Michigan this summer. Thank goodness for archives.

We had a gorgeous sunset the other night with some lightning and thunder rumbling in the distance to the north. No rain. Just wind and blowing dust…again. Can’t remember the last time I saw significant rain at The Hacienda. It’s been a long, parched summer. Here’s hoping that trend doesn’t continue through fall.
