Interesting Goldenrod Crab Spider facts:  Goldenrod Crab Spiders are “hunters.”  They don’t spin webs.  Instead they wait, without moving, on the bloom of a flower.  Because of their ability to change color, they blend in quite well.  When an insect gets near, they grab it with their strong front legs and eat it immediately.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science. He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead —his eyes are closed. ~ Albert Einstein, Living Philosophies
